One of the largest lifestyle transitions due to the COVID pandemic has been distance learning, work, and medical/mental health telehealth. Over the last several years, research has been conducted to test the effectiveness of various therapies on effective outcomes and client satisfaction.

Research
shows that teletherapy provides the same quality of care as traditional therapy.

According to the American Psychological Association, teletherapy is just as effective as in-person sessions for treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including identity, self-esteem, depression and anxiety disorders. Ultimately, how comfortable you feel with your therapist and how confident you are in their ability to assist you in addressing your concerns appears to be the largest motivating factor in continuing therapy.
